- CHURCH CONFERENCE QUESTIONS TO PONDER
- Based on your current reality, what is God asking of your congregation at this time?
- What are your goals for next year to help you accomplish what God is asking of you?
- What study, training, etc. would help you to
accomplish your goals?
- THIS WEEK’S PRAYER FAMILIES
(We are beginning an audit of our membership books October 1.)
Andrew Doolen, Glenn Doolen, Linda Doolen, Steve & Janna Doolen - TWILIGHT CIRCLE is in need of baby clothing and accessories to fill the “Baby Baskets” that are presented to new babies of member’s families and friends. Items needed are: Onesies; white, 6 – 9 mo or larger, Pajamas; boys & girls, Receiving blankets, Socks, Bibs; girls or neutral; Lotion Body Wash and Butt Paste. They may be left in the office. Thanks.
- PARTY LINE PRAYER MEETING … would you be interested in participating in a “party line” prayer meeting? We would all telephone a number and share needs for prayer and have a time of fellowship with one another as a group over the phone. It would last as long as we wanted—perhaps on Wednesday evening and/or a weekday morning. Please let the pastor know if you are interested.
- SOBER REALITIES: Unvaccinated people may choose to wear masks for their own safety and the safety of other non-vaccinated people. Please do not crowd each other as we adjust to this change.
Physical distance is the most effective precaution against COVID!
It is possible but unlikely that a vaccinated person can get COVID. A vaccinated person with COVID is as contagious as anyone else, so some may choose to wear masks to protect others. You can be contagious before you even know you are ill. Not everyone feels safe not wearing a mask—please be kind. We’ve had a tough year! Please pray for wisdom for our government leaders and a calm response throughout this current surge of the Delta variant. - QUILTERS met Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall to tie the quilts that Helen Sullivan has put together. They meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, if anyone is interested in joining them.
