Historical KinmundyChurch.org: Welcome to our church blog!

“CORONA BLIZZARD POLICY” – all Kinmundy and Wesley United Methodist Church activities, including worship, will not meet until children return to school. Our church has a policy that if the schools close because it is unsafe for children to be out, church activities will be canceled that day because it is likewise unsafe for the elderly to be out. On Sunday, 3-15-2020, our Church Council met and decided that we should apply this same policy during the current Coronavirus concern to church activities. On 3-20-2020, following the requests by the President, our Governor and our Bishop, we added public worship. We will still “Worship at Home” with links to new, recorded sermons by our pastor each week – see these in the column to the right under Attend “Worship at Home”. Committees are authorized to make necessary decisions digitally, meeting via email, online and by conference call.

On May 24 we began to hold worship on our parking lot.

According to the most recent statement from our Governor, it looks like our first service back together could be June 28, Lord willing.

We will, of course, follow the instructions of our Bishop and governing authorities.

Links to “Worship at Home with Pastor Dave Kueker” will appear in the list at right by 1 am Sunday morning. You are welcome to participate at any time you wish and as often as you like. Prayer needs will be listed on a Facebook post on the church Facebook page, on the Pastor’s personal Facebook page. These, plus a transcript of the sermon will be emailed or sent by US Mail to anyone who requests it from the church office.
